The pre-fabricated splint material is padded on both sides. It is dipped into water. The inner fiberglass cast bandage has a short setting time and stabilizes the splint, also providing the desired shape. The soft cover, which has also been immersed, dries quickly and provides the splint with the needed soft padding. As different splint lengths are available for different applications, the splint material doesn't need to be cut to length. It is therefore not necessary to trim the material, or at least the necessity of so doing is limited to a few moves. NOBASPLINT® is used for splinting or for the immobilization of extremities.
